April TUSAL time....

Sharon of It's Daffycat hosts our TUSAL!!!  It's always amazing to see what everyone's ORTs look like!!!

Here are mine for the month of April.  Yes.....I am a day late.  Shame on me but I was spending the day with husband and I was NOT about to get on the computer.

I had quite a few ORTs for this month even though I just blogged about my Smalls.  That's alright as I had several gifts that I stitched on but can not share the pictures yet.

Until next post......HAPPY STITCHING EVERYONE!!!

April's Smalls SAL ......

It's that time again for us to check in for our Smalls SAL post.  Heather is our host of this SAL and you can find her at Stitching Lotus.

I have had a few finishes I can share here this month.

The first project I want to share is LK As For Me And My House.  I stitched this as a gift for some dear friends of ours that received a promotion in the AF.  This is LK As For Me And My House.  I just LOVE this chart and it stitches up so quickly.  I stitched it on 32ct Natural instead of the 30ct that came with the Boxer kit.

Here is a closer snapshot of the the frame.

This next one is BBD Rose Garden and was stitched on 36ct white Edinburgh with 1 strand over 2 threads Dinky Dyes Madi's Rose.  It is trimmed in Lady Dot chenille trim Ballerina color.

I promise I have stitched quite a bit more, but I just can't show you just yet.

Happy Stitching!

Happy Easter.....

I wanted to wish all my friends and family Happy Easter.  Today we celebrate our risen Lord and Savior!!  I pray will be blessed this beautiful Easter Sunday and find celebration for this wonderful Lord's day.

We attended our Sunrise Service this morning at the Prairies Chapel for WPAFB.  It was a beautiful service and yes DH brought a wonderful sermon this morning.

I want to leave you with a very special cross stitched piece I stitched.  This is Examplars From The Heart Resurrection!!!  This picture was taken after Jill Rensel framed it for me.

Blessings to you and your family today!

The Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop 2017.....

Jo of Serendipitous Stitching is our wonderful host of the Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop.  So go over to her blog to start your journey to visit all the different blogs collecting the letters to form a mystery phrase.

I love stitching spring projects so what do I do but start a NEW PROJECT just to have to post for our Easter Treasure Hunt Blog Hop today!!  I had a hard time to decide with all the spring charts I have in my stash.  I chose JBW A Very Merry Spring and then pulled Waterlilies Rose Blush silk to stitch it on 28ct White Cashel.  I just wanted a little pillow to display and it is filled with polyfil.

I also wanted to share another project I had stitched years ago and made into a small pinkeep.  It is one my favorite spring smalls to display especially at Easter time with the church!  This is from PS Bunnies and Chicks.

Now for the reveal of my letter that you have been waiting to find out.  It is.........

So go on over to Reading and Stitching to get your next letter.  Happy Hunting!!

Suggestions needed.....

I have stitched Sew Stitcher from iStitch Designs but I am wanting some opinions.  Should I stitch in my name in the lower left hand corner or 2017 or both?  Any suggestions will be appreciated so please just leave a comment on this post.

I finished sewing my Easter dress yesterday but I did sew in the hems for the sleeves and the bottom of the dress today.  I also made a matching hairbow.  I wasn't going to but DD talked me into it.  So it it is finished as well today.  I will share picture of it after Easter.

Happy Stitching!

Quick update....

I didn't post my "Vintage SAL" on Apr 1 for my Stitcher's Garden message board group as we had just gotten back the day before from being away on Spring Break with the family.  However, that weekend after getting back home allowed me time to make a little more progress on my Mirabilia The Lady of The Flag.  Here is where I am at today.

It's not much but it is getting there.  I have been working on a few other smalls and I hope to have quite a few to share at the end of the month for my Smalls posting.

DS is taking the ACT today.  So I will be praying he is doing well while stitching here this morning.  I hope you are finding time to stitch an ornament for this month.  I got behind on March's ornament so I will finish stitching that up today.  Then hopefully later today I can start sewing on my Easter dress to match DD.  Sadly we won't be together on Easter as she is back in college, but at least I was able to get her's made over her Spring Break to take back with her.  YEAH !!!  LOL

Until next time.....HAPPY STITCHING!
