May TUSAL......

Yep....it's that time again for our TUSAL report.  Sharon of It's Daffycat is our host for this SAL.  You can click on the link above or her blog name that is highlighted here to take you to what this SAL is all about.

I have been stitching on a lot of different things but here is one that I finished stitching last month that contributed to a lot of my ORTs since the last time I posted my TUSAL report.  But not all the ORTs are from this little finish.  I've been stitching on my JN Ornamental Advent, something for my hubby for Father's Day, and some small projects.

Here is what I have to show for this month for my ORTs.

Now I'd like to show you my SAL with my friend Janet.  We are doing our With Thy Needle and Thread Word Plays.  We are doing them a month ahead in hopes of displaying them the 2nd month that we're on.  She's done better than I have for getting hers TOTALLY FINISHED into the little pillows. WTG Janet!!!!   Maybe I'll try to work on doing that this week.  But we are doing something that a friend of ours did.  She put 2 months together for finishing and displaying.  For example, January will be backed by February, March goes with April, May goes with June, and so on but you get the point.  I have just haven't gotten around to doing the sewing them together part.  Oh well.  I'll get there.  I'm not worried about it.  It shouldn't take that long......I hope!  haha

Here is May's finish as I'm still working on finishing up June.  Hopefully I can get June finished in the next couple of days so I can ACTUALLY DISPLAY it in June!  LOL

That's all I have for today.  Until my next post......HAPPY STITCHING!!!

  1. Brenda, your May pillow looks good. I like that idea about backing them in pairs.

  3. I love these Word Plays. I have stitched April's and half of January! Could you send me the link to Janet's blog if she has one, I'd love to follow her progress and see the double sided pillows too.
