March Smalls SAL......
Today brings our Smalls post SAL. You can click on the link above to take you to Heather's Smalls SAL link to see what our group shares or you can click on this one to take you to her blog Stitching Lotus.
I would like to share a couple more of my Easter finishes. The first one is BBD Breath of Spring SAL with my friends that I had organized last month in preparation for Easter. I needed some more Easter and spring finishes. I stitched it on 35ct Iced Cappucino in the colors it called for except I did change the white to DMC 5200 to make the bunnies tails a little brighter to see. I couldn't find the right kind of lace to put around it and the cording I had bought for it didn't really look good after I bought it and finished the project. So that cording will most likely be used in some future Christmas ornament. Here are the front and back sides photographed next to some candy from my Easter Basket Exchange that I participated in.
This is the finish that Janet finished for my BBD Breath of Spring SAL. She added little silver heart charms at the bunnies necks!!! I think it is soooo sweet and cute hanging around the bunnies necks!
Next, here is the iStitch Designs Easter freebie chart that I stitched and included in the Easter basket exchange given to my recipient. I found some really cute bunny fabric in my stash to back this pincushion. I love it so much with this fabric I might have to restitch it again for myself even though I have already stitched this design on the 38ct Green Gander fabric that I showed on last month's Smalls post.
Another small that I stitched is a sled ornament. I had never stitched on perforated paper before nor finished a sled so I was a bit hesitant about ordering a chart and sled to see if I even wanted to try this kind of a finish. I was gifted with a Foxwood Crossings sled and chart by my dear friend Robin as I have been admiring all her sled finishes last year.
She did warn me that the sled are addicting to make and finish and after trying the one she gifted me with, I have to say SHE WAS RIGHT!!!! OMS!!!! How fun this new little project was to stitch up and finish! I started it one Saturday morning here a couple weeks ago and finished it that same day.....in between all the other household chores. LOL
I just LOVE this little church and it stitched up soooo quickly!!! I did use the framers tape to attach it to the sled as one of the many ways the designer has suggested. This is going to be my ornament for this year!!!!
I also finished a BRD ornament but did not get to the "finishing" of it. I will have it to share next month!!!
Thank you for stopping by to read my Smalls post today! Be sure to look at the others who join in this SAL on Heather's blog. You never know how you might be inspired by something that someone else has stitched and finished!
Happy Stitching!

Stitcher's Garden Easter Basket Exchange.....
I belong to a stitching group message board that we do exchanges with each other. I organized an Easter Basket exchange and I just had to share what my partner sent to me. Talk about being spoiled for Easter.....Jana spoiled me!!!!
Here are all the goodies that she sent in a beautiful pink with white polka dot box!!!
She put most of the floss to the JN Spring Typography inside the little egg that is next to the Easter bunny. There is also a lot of little candies in the bottom of that box too!!! And I was definitely needing a new Easter towel for my kitchen!!!
I love it all and especially the little notepad and pen!! Ok.....I just LOVE IT ALL that she tucked into that box! Jana was my partner and she loved all that I sent to her as well. I didn't take a picture of what I sent to her but I had stitched that iStitch Easter freebie and made it into a pincushion which you'll see here soon as well as a T.O.P.s that I make with a matching ORT catcher along with Easter plates and napkins, tissues, an Easter little bucket that looks like a cute wastecan and lots of other little goodies that I can't even remember. I just remember picking the things up here and there and would just put it all in the bucket until it got really full!!!
Happy Stitching everyone!

A new WIP .....
I have a new WIP B.O.P. That means ...... Big Ole Project. I like that saying better than the one that is normally used to describe a HUGE project.
I kept forgetting to take my WIP pictures when starting this new MBT 10 Commandments project. Don't worry. I am still working on my Smalls and gifts for this year. I HAVE to be stitching on something!!!
I am stitching this on 36ct Legacy Linen by Picture This Plus using Gloriana Midnight for the blue border and words and NPI 503 red for the accent color.
Here is where I'm at as of today. Please don't ask me when I started it. I just know it was sometime around Valentine's Day weekend. I did have to make the small hash marks with just DMC 640 to count out every 20 squares and the longer hash marks are every 100 count.
Yes....I did count and recount the hash marks 4X to make sure I had counted the correct number for the border. I know I'm stitching all over the place but I'm trying to mix it up some as the entired inner border is the same pattern all the way around. But that can be a good thing too. That way you know the pattern but still have to pay attention where it is all placed. Trust me. I was talking on the phone to my mom and stitched in part of a "floral motif" and had left 1 space too many. Rip it out. Restitch it back in. DID THE SAME THING a second time. UGH Rip out again.....restitch it in for a 3rd time!
But as the old saying goes.....as you sew, so shall you rip! And I did. That's ok though as I find joy in the journey of stitching even if I do have to rip out something.

March TUSAL......
Yep. It's that time again for us to have our TUSAL report. Sharon of It's Daffycat is our host for this group. You can click on the link above to get to her blog or HERE.
I have done a lot of stitching since my TUSAL report last month. To see what I've been stitching, just read some of my previous blog entries. You will definitely see a lot for the Feb Smalls post.
Here are my ORTs since last month.
I'm sorry that they are all crammed into my little ORT tin that my dear friend Pat painted for me to have out of an Altoid tin. I should have spread them out better. Oh well. They have now been added to the big jar of ORTs.
Happy Stitching!

New iStitch Easter design
OMS!!!!! I just logged on to check my emails, and I saw that Carol of iStitch Designs has a new Easter Needleroll design!!!! I absolutely LOVE stitching needlerolls and display them in bowl! You can see her new design when you click on her link in my sidebar or highlighted above! Be sure to head on over there to see Carol's new design.
If you say you can't do the finishing, Carol has already taken care of that, and she says that she will have one available on her Tutorial's blog as well. I've finished many SB needlerolls and they really aren't that hard at all. So I look forward to stitching up Carol's Easter design to display in my front living room!
Happy Friday and HAPPY STITCHING!
