November Smalls SAL.....
Heather of Stitching Lotus is our host each month for our Smalls SAL. Be sure to click on her blog link to see what everyone has been stitching!
I have been doing some finishing on my Prairie Schooler Santa's. I have 2 of the 5 that have been stitched all made into an ornament. I have 3 more already sewn together, but they still need to be stuffed and cording around. Then I have 2 left to do the complete finishing on them, but they will be done in time to go on my Christmas tree.
This first PS Santa is 2014.
This second PS Santa is 2003.
The last pictures are JN Spring Frills Humbug stitched on some light pink fabric that I hand dyed myself.

I have finished stitching some more ornaments so I will have a lot more to show on next month's SAL. This week will be a week of "finishing" the stitched pieces.
Happy Stitching!!!

A Gift for a friend.....
Last week, my husband and I flew to see his former boss retire from the AF after 30years!!! It was such a wonderful retirement ceremony and then a small reception after the ceremony. Ch. Browning was such an amazing boss to everyone, and we were so blessed that he was Ted's boss here at Wright Patterson AFB for a short time before moving to TX. There was an additional reception that night to share in their special day.
I had to raise my camera and zoom in close to the ceremony to not photograph all the people sitting in front of me. That's why it looks like there is only partial pictures.
The last photo is the gift that Ted and I gave him. Many of you know I was cross stitching MBT 10 Commandments. I did not want to say that it was for Ch. Browning as I didn't know if by some weird chance he would see it on my blog. The 10 Commandments was stitched on 36ct Legacy Edinburgh Linen with Gloriana silk in Midnight and NPI 503. I wasn't able to present it to him, but Ch. Browning did see it when Ted and I were at there and he was THRILLED with his gift along with the many other gifts on his table. (I am sorry the picture is crooked. That was my fault for holding the camera slightly crooked to keep the glare off of it while taking the picture.

Yes.... I will be restitching this one again for Ted's promotion to Colonel. So be sure to watch for the WIP of it to come....most likely after the Christmas season. I am finishing up some things right now.
Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you have a wonderful day.
HAPPY STITCHING!
