I wanted to share with all my readers about a new design company. It is called Samplers Not Forgotten. I meant to take pictures when I went to The Attic on Sunday during Sampler Sunday but I just forgot. So I went back on Tuesday to take pictures at The Attic because Jean is having this designer as Sampler of the Month for October.
Samplers Not Forgotten is a company dedicated to preserving the past by reproducing old samplers from long ago. Kimberly has 4 new releases and the Attic is showcasing her Black Cat Sampler as Sampler of the Month. You can read more about it on the Attic's newsletter HERE. Be sure to click on the newsletter for 10-3-2013 to get to the newsletter describing her charts.
This is what the chart looks like.
I did remember to take a picture of Jean's WIP of it on Sunday and here is Jean's progress on her sampler. Jean is stitching it on 50ct linen!!! WOW!!! It is just exquisite and I agree....I love all the animals at the bottom! She gives more details in her newsletter so be sure to read all about it.
Kimberly has 3 other samplers reproduced but one is already sold out at the Attic. I had to hold the Elizabeth Lamb chart to get a good picture of the sampler so you could at least see it and that is why the chart looks a little bent in the packaging. You know how hard it is to photograph things in their plastic sleeves.
I don't have pictures of Isabill Robb or Louisa Dodd ....yet. But you can read about and see them on Jean's newsletter on 10-3-2013.
Now.....for the contest part. I have quite a few followers and I am looking to having more follow my blog. If you share my blog and post a comment here that you have shared this link about the contest on your blog, you will be entered to win one of Samplers Not Forgotten chart of your choice. When my followers reach a total of 100, a drawing will be held and the winning name will receive the Samplers Not Forgotten chart of their choice. So let's get the word out there about this new design company!
Happy Stitching!

I was referred here by the blog "this and that" . Wow I am awed by some of that work. I particularly love the series of christmas trees on a hanger. I have been working on a project using up some of my family heirloom christening gowns etc. I found a sampler amongst them all and will blog about it tonight and put a link back to your post. Count me in, I am your newest follower via bloglovin.

Hola, me encantan los samplers. He descubierto esta empresa de Not Forgotten y estoy impresionada con sus diseño. He llegado a su blog a través del Sampler Black cat 1861. Realmente divino. Eluzabeth Lamb 1837, magnífico. Sigo su blog y deseo que usted siga el mio también. Usted ya forma parte de mi pequeño rincón en blogger. http://telaagujadedal.blogspot.com.es/
